Back PainBack pain is very rare but it can happen in people who have had a stroke or heart attack or have diabetes. It usually happens during the first 3 months of treatment and may get worse or stay for a longer period. If your back pain gets worse or lasts for 3 days you should see a doctor. The most common side effects are headache, nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, visual disturbances (jitteriness, blurring of vision), chest pain or fainting. Some people may experience signs of an allergic reaction such as skin rash, itching, swelling, dizziness or trouble sleeping. Serious side effects include sudden vision or hearing loss, an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, prolonged ejaculation, sudden severe dizziness, light-headedness, fainting, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), chest pain, irregular heartbeats, painful or hard penis, new or more painful urination, urinary retention, and vomiting. Rarely, there may be a venous leak (thrush) or kidney damage.
